On 27 February the European Commission has published the Version 4.0 of the Model Grant Agreement (MGA).
The most important changes concern:
■The definition of "additional remuneration“ (Article 6.2.A). This applies to collaborative research and ERC projects, but not to Marie-S. Curie-Actions.
■Natural persons working under a direct contract (Article 6.2.A.2)
■The possibility to use unit costs to report internally invoiced costs (Article 6.2.D.5)
■The introduction of the term "international partner" for entities in third countries not eligible for EU funding, as well as a new article for such case (Artikel 14a)
■Communication with the European Commission must be made via the Participant Portal even after the final payment of the project (Article 52.1).
