Research on Air Traffic Management (ATM) in the following areas:

  • Automation in ATM
  • Data Science in ATM
  • Information Management in ATM
  • Environment and Meteorology in ATM
  • Economics and Legal Change in ATM
  • High Performing Airport Operations
  • Separation Management and Separation Standards
  • Communication Navigation and Surveillance (CNS)
  • Trajectory Based Operations (TBO)
  • ATM Architecture
  • ATM Performance

SSH aspects: 

  • Human performance issues (incl. stress, lack of attention, loss of situational awareness and de-skilling), potential strategies to mitigate these risks
  • Economics and Legal Change in ATM
  • Economic impacts of a harmonised technical infrastructure
  • Performance of ATM: the performance impact of new business models and, conversely, the way performance needs could stimulate changes in business models

Specific participation requirements: 

The application of Horizon 2020 legal framework for Research and Innovation Actions is fully applicable for this Call for Proposals.
Projects resulting from this Call for Proposals will be limited in duration to an indicative period of maximum of 24 Months.
