The ERA-NET "ERANID – European Research Area Network on Illicit Drugs" has published a call with Deadline 18 October 2016.
Deadline: 18 October 2016
Short Call Abstract:
This second and final transnational call for proposals in the frame of the ERANID project is dedicated to society and responses to drug use. This topic examines some of the areas of the SRA not yet covered and builds on national priorities of the participating countries. It follows and complements the focus of the first joint call on understanding drug use pathways.
We wish in particular to fund research that explores the impact of drug policies on society and the importance of the social environment in pathways to recovery and socioeconomic reintegration. For both topics, researchers will exploit the transnational aspect of this call (e.g. via comparative analysis) and its European coverage (e.g. through methodological advancements, the development of common metrics...).
Gender dimension in social responses; the attitudes and perceptions as
they influence the way the topics of this call are formulated and addressed by society; the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of policies and interventions; the SSH-perspective at the core of the range of disciplines mobilised in projects, notwithstanding the secondary input from other disciplines.
Specific participation requirements:
Only transnational projects will be funded. Each proposal must involve a minimum of three eligible applicants, although preference will be given to four or more from at least three different countries participating in the call.
